Quadra Island is located at the northern end of the Georgia Straight, 200 km northwest of Vancouver. 35 km in length and 9 km at its widest point, Quadra Island is the largest of the Northern Gulf or Discovery Islands. With a population of approximately 2,700 people year-round, the majority reside in the southern half of the island in the communities of Quathiaski Cove and Heriot Bay.

While many needs are met locally, a 2 ferry service and quick 12-minute ferry crossing Discovery Passage from Quathiaski Cove brings you to Campbell River, where you will find all of the amenities of a small city.
